MASSAGE THERAPY LOGO+BRANDING
Role: Art Direction & Design
The inspiration for the branding came from anatomical drawings and charts. The client asked to stay away from the spiritual elements of massage and convey a more grounded approach to the practice that reflected his anatomical studies in school.
I began to develop a logo that would reflect the main ideas the client asked me to represent: healing, calm, and wholeness.
Sketching is a tool that allows me to play with my ideas and keep a record of the development of a concept.
After a few rounds, the client and I agreed on this iteration of the logo. The two hands represent the healing work that a massage therapist's hands do as well as a circular movement that represents wholeness.
